Open Your Eyes Again to the Wonder
Can it really be this simple?
We have immigrants lining up in droves for a chance to come to America. The primary dialog you hear on the subject seems to focus on who we should and should not let in and even who we should kick out.
You can find people from all over the country willing to argue the unchangeable stance they have formed as if these people were dangerous aliens from another planet. I’ve noticed this strange phenomenon becomes even more pronounced during election cycles.
Most of these immigrants would die for what we have.
My present curiosity on the subject is wondering why they would even want to come here in the first place.
Do they not know what they would be getting themselves into?
For years, our existing citizenry has been forming into distinct tribes. It’s not crazy to think a civil war is in our future if things don’t change soon.
I guess one positive is you can get vaccinated rather easily against COVID here in the US. There is one problem though. The sizable percentage of the population who refuse to do so is keeping us from reaching herd immunity and making life more dangerous for the ones of us that do participate.
